Regional Fisheries Group Evaluation

The Regional Fisheries Groups Evaluation will design a framework and a set of associated indicators against which a process evaluation can be carried out to examine the engagement techniques used by the Regional Fisheries Group team and examining if the regional bespoke arrangements used are appropriate and what key lessons/best practices can be extrapolated:

• Identify constructive and negative points from processes draw on during both the early and current arrangements stages of the development of the Regional Fisheries Groups.
• Assess early and ongoing work with a focus on how it is helping the participatory element of the Fisheries Act (2020) be delivered. This includes through commitments beyond the Fisheries Act, and internal commitments set by the RFG team.
• Develop baseline data.
