Extension of CSR Requirements under REACH REF: 839

DG Environment commissioned RPA to provide a technical review of REACH and the registration requirements relating to substances between 1 and 10 tonnes that are manufactured or imported within the European Union per year.  The study is to provide the information necessary for the Commission to undertake and report on:

• the review described in Article 138(1) of REACH – where this relates to CSA/CSR obligations for substances meeting the criteria for classification in the hazard classes carcinogenicity, germ cell mutagenicity or reproductive toxicity, category 1A or 1B; and
• the review described in Article 138(3) of REACH – where this the information requirements for substances  manufactured or imported  between 1 and 10 tonnes per year.
