Maria Zabaloy

Maria joined RPA in April 2024. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Universidad Nacional del Sur. Prior to working at RPA, she worked in higher education and research in the field of energy economics. Her prior projects and publications address the topics of energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy poverty, and energy transition projects. She has experience in the constructions of indicators for the evaluation of public policies, based on both quantitative and qualitative techniques.

Since joining RPA, as a member of the chemicals team, she works on socio-economic analyses for EU and UK REACH authorisations.

She is proficient in English, and a native speaker of Spanish. She also has a good understanding of French. Outside of work she enjoys dancing, baking, and walking with her dog.
