Study assessing the impact of the European Commission’s Diversity and Inclusion policies

The European Commission DG Justice and Consumers (DG JUST) has commissioned a study assessing the impact of the European Commission’s diversity and inclusion policies.

Risk & Policy Analysts (RPA) have been appointed to lead this study, supported by CSR Europe, European Small Business Alliance, Tilburg University and country researchers covering all 27 Member States. A support letter from DG JUST is available here.

The objective of this study is twofold:

  • To investigate the benefits and potential business case for private and public organisations to pursue diversity and inclusion policies; and
  • To investigate the impact of signing a Diversity Charter on developing diversity and inclusion policies in an organisation

In more detail, the study will investigate:

  • Socio-economic costs and benefits of diversity and inclusion policies
  • Impact of the EU Platform of Diversity Charters
  • Benefits, challenges and impacts of signing a Diversity Charter
  • Best practice examples and options for further action

The study involves the collection and review of documents and data, and stakeholder consultation activities (online survey, interviews, workshops). Please get in touch if you would like to get involved in these activities.

The privacy statement for the survey, interviews and workshops can be found here.

You can express your interest in this study and share your contributions by emailing our study team at diversity@rpaltd.co.uk, or you can go straight to the survey by clicking this link.
