PU Europe Insulation Study
RPA have been contracted by PU Europe to perform an impact assessment of a possible ban on F-gas blowing agents in foam insulation products used in construction, refrigeration, and pipe applications under the F-gas Regulation. The information gathered will be combined with literature knowledge and used to engage with European authorities during consultation over the universal PFAS restriction and future F-gas Regulation revisions.
As part of this project, RPA has developed a survey where we are seeking information about the performance of insulation products and F-gas blowing agents. In addition to performance data, the survey also requests economic data in order to determine the value of the F-gas blown foam insulation market.
Below are two instructional videos. The first video presents the key information about the study. The second video acts as a walkthrough on the survey, covering the types of questions asked, how to save a survey as a draft, and how to submit it as a final response
We implore you watch the below recordings before filling out the survey.
