Coastwise Transition Plans

Coastwise, a NNDC led Coastal Transition Accelerator Programme project, funded by Defra, and managed by the Environment Agency, is developing and creating 6 Coastal Erosion Community Transition Plans across north Norfolk. These plans will build on the work done by Coastwise on the Strategic Transition Plans, with a location focus, and further enhance the update of this plan.  RPA is supporting Haskoning UK Ltd. to develop 2 of these community plans at Weybourne, and Bacton/Walcott. Work on these plans runs from July to December 2025, and will provide important contributions towards the future adaptation and transition of coastal communities across the north Norfolk area.
