Matthew Lambert

Matthew Lambert is Managing Director at Risk & Policy Analysts (RPA), where he leads the business and our chemicals and regulatory work.

He joined RPA in 2017 and led its transition to Employee Ownership in 2019. He has over 25 years’ experience across consultancy and industry, with a background in law.

Matthew works with clients navigating UK and EU chemicals regulation, with a particular focus on REACH, including authorisation, restriction and registration, as well as wider regulatory strategy and socio economic analysis. His work focuses on translating regulatory requirements into practical commercial and operational decisions, including implications for market access and long term strategy.

Alongside client work, he leads RPA’s chemicals team, supporting business development and delivery across this area. As Managing Director, he is responsible for the firm’s strategy, financial performance, and day to day operations, and chairs the RPA board.
