Environment Agency publishes report on the costs and impacts of the winter 2013-14 floods

The total economic damages for England and Wales from the winter 2013 to 2014 floods are estimated at between £1,000 million and £1,500 million, with a best estimate of £1,300 million. The largest proportion of flood damages were to residential properties, which experienced 25% of the total damages.
