Risk & Policy Analysts Limited (RPA) is an employee-owned, B Corp certified, independent consultancy with an established reputation and proven expertise in the fields of economics, chemicals, social policy and the environment. Our main office is in Norwich and we have hubs in London, Cambridge, North West and the South West and Edinburgh.

Our Business Support team help to deliver the day to day running of our business and projects.  Due to internal moves we are looking for someone with relevant experience to join the team as Office Manager.

The role is full-time and based from our fantastic Norwich city centre office.  Parking is available if needed.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Office Management Duties

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the Norwich office by establishing, managing and maintaining all relevant processes. This will include:
  • Running the office as a flexible workspace
  • Answering the phone
  • Keeping office supplies well maintained
  • Overseeing office administration and filing
  • Performing front of house duties in welcoming the team and clients to the office
  • Dealing with office suppliers as required
  • Maintaining an overall positive impression of the office
  • Booking travel and accommodation where required for co-owners
  • Providing ad hoc support to our London team and hubs across the country, as required
  • Supporting Directors with basic administration duties
  • Supporting with tender / proposal administration as needed
  • Undertake health and safety checks on a monthly basis
  • Scheduling meetings and training courses
  • Website management

Supporting People and Culture Manager with delivery of their responsibilities by:

  • People HR system administration
  • Recruitment process support
  • Onboarding of new starters
  • Performance Management Framework process administration
  • Updating RPA’s internal policies

As an individual it is likely that you will be:

  • Confident Microsoft office user – particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable in using different software systems
  • A flexible team player
  • Friendly, warm and people orientated
  • Detailed focused and accurate in your work
  • Enjoy showing others how to do things you know                                                                                                        

Salary and benefits

The role is being offered on a full-time permanent basis. The salary being offered is up to £24,500 FTE.

We offer up to 38 days holiday.  After 6 months you will gain equity in the business via the Employee-Owned Trust which brings tax free profit share and a voice in the future of the company.  We offer 5% contributary pension and 5 x salary life insurance.
