Joshua Bishop

Josh joined RPA in September 2021 and is a consultant in the Environment and Society Team. He graduated from the University of East Anglia, obtaining an integrated master’s degree in environmental science, after completing two research projects in sedimentology and seismology. Alongside these, he also has academic experience in meteorology, climate, and sustainability science.

Since joining RPA, Josh has contributed to a variety of UK flood-orientated projects, such as the Environment Agency’s Cost of Floods, and Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation Programme, Coastal Transition Accelerator Programme and Adaptation Pathways Programme- which together make up the Defra Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation Fund. As part of these and further work, he has taken part in policy reviews, survey design and deployment, and the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. Outside of work, Josh is a keen skier, and is also learning Polish.
