Annex XV dossier on the use of cadmium REF: 805

Under its Framework Agreement with ECHA, Risk & Policy Analysts Limited (RPA), with support from TNO, was contracted to assist ECHA with gathering the information required for an Annex XV restriction dossier with particular reference to:

• the identification of uses of cadmium and its compounds in plastic materials and the technical and economic feasibility of alternatives; and
• risk assessment of cadmium and its compounds in plastic materials as well as their alternatives.
